WARNING :To alls have buy Seagate hard disk .........

The impression I get from reading that is that you're OK, so long as you don't power it on. Which means that for the time being (until an update is available), you should probably avoid powering your computer off if you have one of the affected drives.

And whether your drive will be a problem or not depends on the firmware version you have.

Does that agree with others' interpretations?

My 2 barracuda 7200.10 's in raid seem to work fine. I guess it's just a prob with the newer drives?

Oh joy... I posted a question a few months ago in the computers section of Yahoo Answers about just this, having had it on two Seagate drives, and I was shouted down. Good to know I was right after all. *******s.
