• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Watch Out Moller SkyCar!!

I bet the LA tv news people just can't wait until the first on is involved in a

"LIVE: high speed chase on and over the roads of Los Angeles! We take you now to our news chopper in the midst of the pursuit!" :jump:

I've always liked that one too. Kinda cute.

I suppose Insurance companies would be willing to sell you both automobile and aircraft insurance before you could use it. :isadizzy:

Wonder what the Geico and Progressive ads will be like? :costumes:

Ive had a dream since I was a kid, of taking a car that could fly, taking off in Los Angeles, flying over the ocean to Avalon Island (Catalina, about 5 or 10 miles out) and land there and spend the day, driving around...

That would be the future man......

There is a video of that folding its wings at Oshkosh this year along with some of the other experimentals , that skycar is going to remain a novelty but the Icon was really eyecatching and had the look of a product that might find room in the garage .... http://www.iconaircraft.com/

Yep, same here Robert. I'll never be able to afford one, but man that is one sleek lookin' airplane. While it's not the same premise as the TerraFugia, it definitely could be flying overhead much sooner than the car and much, much, much sooner than the Moller SkyCar, lol.

Icon A5 Estimated price: $139,000 (Standard Equipement) ... I'll pass too. Now if they make one for FSX, then I'll get one. ;) :costumes:
