Hey all,

Has anyone (in the world) done some cool Weather Themes for FS9?

The only one I know of is the one by FTX for the Australia scenery (Koorby Clouds by Vista Australias).

I use "Real sky pro edition" It's payware but I like it:applause:

How does one save weather themes? Is there a program besides the listed payware that allows such?

Thanks for all, I had many in my old FS9 on the old computer, but have not looked for them on the recent installation on the new computer.

Thanks MotorMouse. I had forgotten about that.

Thats a good idea Cazz.

In effect, you 'should' be able to create one based off of perhaps a cool 'real weather' save point and create a cool weather theme platform from that.

In the past, with real weather, I have found the most awesome weather creations ever.

I'll paruse through the FS9 SDK pack and see what I can come up with.

I have been mucking around with Weather Theme Creator for FS9 by Microsoft and it is a bear to run.

The themes once they become large enough take awhile to save and for some reason it goes threw a real long process of shutting down a file. My laptop took almost an hour to shut down the file then just a few seconds to close the program.

It is a resource hog that requires a lot of memory.

Also if you are like me and don't really know what you are doing with it. It can have some very strange results.

Anybody want to fly one of them? :icon_lol:

Go to Avsim and jusr seach for Christian Stock.
It will be with his weather themes under the heading of 'Tutorial'.

Well I was wrong about that. His tutorial came out before the Weather SDK. It is still a good tutorial to understand FS and Weather but it does nothing to help with using the SDK.

Looks like I will continue with small adjustments to variables and test.
