Wednesday Evening On Line Mission

We have a "barn burner" set up for Wed. with night strike mossies hitting a munitions depot near Calais. There are also German Panthers moving at night on a nearby road. British bombers have already pounded targets near the town of Calais and the fires are quite large in the near distance. British Beau night fighters will be prowling the sky near the mosssies looking for any German aircraft that may be in the air or may be attempting to intercept the Lancs or mossies. Meanwhile Royal Navy destroyers are making one of their rountine night shelling actions against coastal targets in the area. German E-Boats will be out and about trying to cause trouble as well.

The German night bombers have also been busy and we will see the results of their work when we reach England on the return trip. Save some ammo as we may be able to make them pay the price.

Lots of action in this one and you will see a lot of distant fires and explosions along both coasts as we fly along.

Weather is forecast to be partly cloudy over England with low clouds in the Calais area. Expect moderate flak with searchlights and German night fighters in the area. Use caution when flying in the vicinity of Calais due to RAF bomber traffic and bright star shells from the Tin Cans which may affect your night vision..

All in all pretty much a typical night along the French coast near Calais.:woot:

What time this evening, O-1? I might be able to make it -- will try to get TS fixed first.

Roger that. Not sure what is going on with my TS. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but still no luck. Will keep trying.

Good Stuff!

See you guys tonight. Here's a pic from last week.
The pilot walked away so it's a good landing. The
little speck in the water above his cockpit is me
and I'm not that 'strong' a swimmer....

Hey, thought you guys had fergotten da little people... why yes, 'tis a beautiful landing!!

Thanks for joining guys, what a great evening. How many trees did we cut down trying to land at Hawkinge? I know I got one, a large oak I believe.

Clive, man that airfield is dark at night and who the heck planted all of those trees around the field?:wavey:

We tried to land at Swingfield but got a red flare and had to divert to Hawkinge.
