Weird Hornet noises

Well, I guess it is.

Let me start over. I'm flying the Acceleration Hornet around Oahu, chasing my carrier. Sometimes flap-LIKE noises will randomly be heard. What are they?

It could actually be the flaps.

ISTR
they can auto-extend at low speed.

Next time it happens -
Pause
Switch to external view
Check whether deployed.
