Weirdness I can't figure out

Would anyone have an idea why this is happening? I converted and repainted the FS2004 Savoia Marchetti SM.82 model to CFS2. Everything works fine for individual flight i.e. when the player is the pilot. But when the plane is used as an AI or even if the player's flight has just one wingman, the game instantly crashes.

Hi CK,
I think you've been hit by the Fs2004 glightstates and/or crash trigger prob. When converting unfortunately they do not get removed, this then causes a sim crash because CFS2 does not use those definitions in the GUID.

Just converted and hexed out the crashcheck, and no sim crash after that. PM me.

I had the same problem with the King Fisher on wheels. Can someone tell me where you find the lines to edit? I sure would like to use it as an AI as well as a player AC.

What mdlc version are you using? Mdlc 190 was designed to kill the lightstates and the crash detect in the conversion process.

CK,
If you use the last version, which is 190, that helps, but does not always get rid of the issues, so hexing or scasming is the only solution.

Cheers
