Well finally bought the Bug

Thanks guys, still getting to grips with the systems. Just a bit un-nerving when the systems shut when to hot!
 
Really, how is the performance of this plane in FSX? Reason I ask, is I was one of the original pre-purchasers for the FS9 version, and waited and waited and checked the website every day for over 2 years....then It finally came out and I downloaded and installed and was never more disappointed with any addon I had ever purchased. Is it worth another try now that I have FSX? It LOOKS great....but I had a lot of issues, and maybe I was too quick to just dump it. Input?
 
What an ugly plane. Sorry, never liked the thing. Stupid tail halfway up front. I wonder if people would like it if the human construction companies would start placing boobies halfway down the body...not counting gravitational pull over a longer period of time here.

On a happier note, it is one hell of a screenie!
 
I thought about it - I may pick it up at Best Buy - only $30 there :jump:
Careful... I bought a copy retail and found afterwards that they won't give you forum access unless you pay another $40 or something.

Edit: Just double checked and it's $10, but my memory seems to recall it being at least twice that. FWIW, the forum is read only.

Still, I'm not paying more money... they use BB as a distributer that's their problem. To restrict access because one buys a legit retail copy.... unbelievable.
 

Does this still required a joystick to opearte?

Yes it does still require a stick as far as I am aware.

HD, the clouds and water are REX and I did edited the shot a bit, but the clouds are as they are in the Sim.
