'Well....It Definitely Wasn't "Smokes" Fault'..

people worry that they need safer cars to prevent injuries, now it seems that they need smarter drivers.:bump:

It was just racing.

But it was Kyle's own fault. He tried to block the one person since the Intimidator left us that simply will not take that sort of crap. Smoke moved high after Kyle blocked him low, then Kyle brain pooted up the track hoping that Smoke would lift. Uh-uh! Homey don't do that! So Kyle should have let Smoke by and lived with 2nd place. But Kyle is also bone-headed like the Intimadator was, 2nd place is the first place loser in his league! That's why I like the whipper-snapper! Just glad it didn't take all the leaders out, wouldn't have hurt to have had JJ in his way when the melee started! Sorry Ed, just pickin'! :icon_lol:

Caz

Actually, Brad (“I ain’t going below the yellow line even if you come across my nose and try to force me down there and cause me to take you out”) Keselowski, at Talladega, sort of proved he doesn’t play that game either!

Hey All,

No Smoke did nothin wrong. Neither did Kyle in a way - was he supposed to know smoke would be there? You takes your chances.

JJ got 2nd and stayed outta the messes other drivers made. Should be in the top 12 for sure now. Did you notice how JJ an Chad last week at New Hampshire ran a ton of practice laps? Why? Already they are preppin for the final 10 races that start with the next New Hampshire race. Smart - other teams could learn a lot from Chad and Jimmy - no hurry for them to smarten up though. :bump: Not till Jimmy has 4 (or more!) in a row. Then when the great drivers are mentioned it'll be like Petty, Earnhardt, Pearson, Johnson, Allison, Yarborough, Baker, Gordon... - kind of a nice ring to it seein that Johnson right in there! :icon_lol: Oh yeah an then there was that Hamlin guy - lots of talent but... Jus pickin back Caz!

Who makes the final 12 this year will be interesting to watch. My gut feel is watch out for the RCR cars - RCR is just too good a shop to have nobody in the final 12. Now who will fall out? Montoya?

Hey All,

Panther I think any of the top 12 in positions 5 through 12 are likely vulnerable - I think spots 1 through 4 are likely in. 5 through 12 just depends on how they do the next couple months. Montoya has as good a chance as any of them to stay in the top 12. I also think either Burton or Boyer will get there.

& Kyle better not be mad at Stewart....:bump:

Well, he is... (shocker!) At some press conference I saw on SPEED today, he opined that anybody who does what Tony did should be BLACK FLAGGED and the win given to the THIRD place car. Young Kyle never dissapoints... That's dam funny.

Kyle is a fool then...
Looking at the replay, it's crystal clear in that "Smoke" not only didn't get his bumper into Kyle's, but "Smoke" also held his line....In the end, it was Kyle who turned into a straight-in-his-lane driving Stewart...
