but i got abit carried away, there are a few object librarys needed but if you have a few Maiw packs installed,
you should be ok, but will work fine without. ive only a few installed myself due to rebuilding my system, 3 French Mirage packs and the Papa C17's at the moment, ive also used some great objects found in the Bowels of Avsimrus, a goldmine for good quality militay scenery not available at the main sites,
all ready up for download, this sites quick, enjoy.

I really like those 'cold war' military bases with a lot of trees around! Excellent job you've made here :)
One thing I dislike though, is that you have used custom trees. Why didn't you place autogen trees instead ?
Sorry if the question is dumb, but I dont have much knowledge about scenery creation...

The problem with the custom trees is that they often look too different from the surrounding scenery. Also, it's one of the typical things that do not work when trying to port the scenery to FSX, but that's another problem....

Personal preferance i guess, the main issue for me was that when i looked on the net for pics of the base, that style of tree seemd to fit, unfortunatly its the sim thats got it wrong, looking on Google earth, there seems to be alot of large pine plantations in that part of southern Germany which the stock land class dos'nt represent,
I also dont like the way the stock trees look in the winter months.

Great base Ian, if you get the urge to do any other Soviet or GDR bases and need any ai paint schemes doing just holler mate.

Nice scenery, mate!

Just took my Albatros out for a few spins. After spending lots of hours in Canadian and New Zealand airspace, it's good to be home again...
