it was disappointing though.....not many planes showed as it was windy as heck in northern california today.my wind thingy, paid 199 bucks for it and i have no idea of what its called...LOL..but it showed a gust of 35mph on the ramp, and 93F temps.the pavement was 135F with my thermal temp thingy infrared deal....BUT..the SNJ 5C was there..some of us have it in our simulators...i was talking to the owner.when i told him i had it in my simulator.he said he had done a google search on the SNJ 5 and found one for FSX simulator...he said he wondered if he should have royalties....i told him he should be proud we all know about the plane and be happy....lol..he is from Camron park california..30-40 miles from me.its a airport community south of placerville ca..the homes have hangers instead of garages..and the woman who flys the T34 and does aerobatics lives there...for the life of me i cant think of her name....she has a cool T28 as well..

Me too, even with the same awful weather and a T-6. But way more action in the display area. :d

Very cool that you got to see that SNJ, Dave! It is regarded as the most accurately/authentically restored SNJ on the planet, inside and out. Thanks for sharing the photos! Same guy has two Helldiver projects currently under restoration to flying condition. Both his T-28 and his SNJ have won major awards for the quality and accuracy of their restorations.
