Allen,

No. It's basically between Pedestal / Mezzagosto and the Western Desert.

I have another one getting closer...

Hey guys,

I have passed the halfway point with "Western Desert - 1942" and have the thirteen-mission British campaign one mission away from completion. This package will include 55 missions in total, and I also have fourteen of the Italian missions done. If anyone would like to beta-test this one, just let me know.

It's what I was working on last summer before 486_Col_Wolf, among others, called me back north to finish the German side to the Battle of Britain...lol

Good evening,

Well, that's one out of three done. The British campaign is now completed. :mixedsmi:

Good evening,

I just wanted to pass along another progress report. As it stands now, two campaigns are completed; the twenty-mission Italian campaign, called "Quarta Sponda" is completed, along with the thirteen-mission "Libya - 1942" campaign for the British. I have also made significant progress on the twenty-three mission "Deutsches Afrikakorps" campaign for Germany, with nine missions completed, four of them in the past two days.

That brings the total to 42 out of 56 missions completed. I will have to see about doing some relatively minor engineering work, however, before releasing it in certain areas. Those who would like to beta test this, though, are welcome to drop me a line!

Good morning,

I wanted to pass along that 49 out of 56 missions are now completed, I even broke out something I haven't done since Kondors!; you reconnoitre enemy tanks and trucks in a Bf-109 fighter at El Alamein, and try to avoid combat if possible.

I have to finish "Pedestal" first, but can't wait to try out the British missions in this one. Thanks for all your hard work. :salute:

Misson,

I am beta-testing the 51st mission now...one that has four potential scenarios. If you'd like an advanced copy, I can send it to you.

A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category CFS 2 Campaigns Add-Ons

Description: Western Desert - 1942

This 55 mission, triple-campaign pack covers the German Desert Air Force campaign, the Italian campaign, and a smaller Royal Air Force campaign. The time period depicted is from January to October of 1942, covering the final German offensive in the Western Desert that nearly broke through the Allied defenses as they made a final stand at El Alamein in Egypt. Major events in this period include the fall of Benghazi, and the push toward the Gazala line followed by the siege of Tobruk and the German push into Egypt.

Both the Italian and Royal Air Force campaigns in this package cover only up to the battles at Gazala, ending in late May of 1942. The German campaign covers the most extensive amount of time in this package, ending with their retreat from El Alamein in late October of 1942.

Enjoy!

Good evening,

Here it is...this is the second big package for the Mediterranean to be released. (Pedestal was the first) This is one of my favorites, and the thirteen-mission RAF campaign is brand-new. Enjoy these...this is a project I am happy to finally clear off my plate. :salute:

Next up...Mezzagosto and Beaus in the Sand.

Big thank

Thank you Rami for all your effort - I'll immidiately delete my old MTO install and do another according to your new revised manual, and then your new campaigns. Where would CFS-2 be today had it not been for you and the other great gurus?
