I been wanting a stoof with a roof.

I remember a time on the Hanna (USS Hancock) they did this CAG Air show while we
were on Dixie station and the last two aircraft to fly by our port side was FUDD & Hookie Took.

The cag boss announced on the 5MC about the high speed fly by of the on coming Fudd.
As it passed by us onlookers standing on that old teak wood flight, the Fudd would sharply climb
from near sea level, both its engines internal hemmorging as it strained to gain sudden high altitude;
you could hear the backfiring of both engines pop, pop, pop......
The wiring on those planes was so old and brittle you could see numerious splices in the overhead wiring in 10" to 12" intervals.
