What are these files for?

Jaxon

virtually there
I have a few files in my game, which are probably parts of added scenery - but which?

Found them somewhere in my SCENEDB folder:

DODL10.BGL
DODL21.BGL
DODL25.BGL
DODL30.BGL

B310-body1.bgl
B310-body2.bgl
B310-body3.bgl
B310-MParts.bgl
B310-pilots.bgl

jfkdod.bgl
jfktrai1.bgl
JFKTRAIN.BGL
TRAIN.BGL
traindod.bgl

Please help, if you know more!

Well apart from the obvious, that anything with JFK in is for JFK Int a/port, NY?
The 'dod' and 'train' parts are maybe Department of Defence, and a train going to/from this building/area???

B310 - There is a Boeing 310-300??

Just an overall guess is that there's been an installation of JFK or US scenery at some point, which included some or all of these items.
I've just searched my CFS2, FSGW3 and FS2004 installs and these items are not in any of them.
Might be worth asking on the Fs2004 forum?

Most probably you are right.
I have absolutely now idea, in which package they came.
I can`t remember any FS200? scenery I have installed from that area.

I have opened one of the B310 BGLs and the texture called ( B310Winglet.bmp) isn`t there as well.

But this is definately a plane then.

In the other scenery BGLs I opened isn`t even a texture called.

Very strange. But since it is obviously Modern world scenery, I copy them to a special place, where I keep these: My dustbin.

Thanks for help!

I suggest, transfer the bgl´s to your weapons folder , than make a simple weapon dp file with appropriate name for each of the files, select an aircraft and write the names into the dp file as bombs, than start the game and have a look what kind of object´s are showing up.

Beside it is too late:

I thought about that as well. But inside the files are no object names.
Only these cryptic one-in-a-million-numbers, which is needed for all objects.
