I have some rendering issues probably with vehicles. These are parked next to the hanger at Kitzingen. I'm sure I can fix the problem if I can figure out which vehicle it is, any ideas are welcome.

You Have two items with the same Model names..
I have had this happen in the past when I First tried making stand alones.. Cute little smiley faces pop up in place of the item with the "Double model names"..CFS3 and all the add ons do this when Only the model names are set up on two different items..
Learnt this the hard way..LOL..
And a pain in the &^*%$ to find which ones it is sometimes
Could be anything from weapons to ships to aircraft, even guns.. from the shot I would say either vehicles or emplacements..

Owen I ran a .m3d file search in both my vehicle and buildings folders. I did in fact have duplicate model files. After eliminating these, the problem still remains, so it is a problem with a specific model. This is the generic CFS3 Install as far as the global and qc locations but I have all my add ons in my building and vehicle folders. I think I will try stock building and vehicle folder one at a time to narrow it down. Maybe you can do an over flight and see what is parked next to that hangar where the smiley's are sitting.

When I look at the facility file the gf_oil is the only thing close to those crates so that must be it, the aa guns are too far away.

Fixed it!

The gf_oil folder in my non-stock buildings folder was missing the m3d file. Not sure how that happened?

Whenever you find the upside-down smiley, it's because the model file is unavailable, even though the rest - xdp, air, cfg, etc are correct. If the cfg for example is incorrect, you won't see it, and in fact the probability is that it'll lock up anyway. The smiley is a default m3d, that's all.
