K. Malinowski has a good selection of CFS2 aircraft that are great in FS9. Look in the archives for Farmboy....and you will find the P-40s (which have been updated to FS9 in terms of flight dynamics) and P-47s. Then head over to Simviation.com and do a search for Malinowski and you will find the P-47s, a nice selection of paints for them, the B-24 D and J and PB4Y-1 and -2 variants of the Liberator, and a nice range of JU-88s. One of the downloads for 88s (the A-14 I think) is corrupt. I have it and can zip it and send it to you if you want. Malinowsi also has some nice Japanese fighters over on Simviation as well.
Also on Simviation are some nice Polish planes by
Elias Korompilis. I think they are also in the archives here but can't remember the user name...some are redone for FS9.

Sakichi System has a nice Blohm und Voss BV-141 on Simviation.
Wolfi's Helldiver, P-26, and Nell are well worth adding to your FS9 collection.
Thicko has a superb collection of aircraft here in the library that work in well FS9.
Akemi has a nice selection of WW2 aircraft.
http://members.jcom.home.ne.jp/hago/hangar1.htm His 190s are the best I have seen!
Paul Rebuffat has a wonderful selection of Spitfires and 109s.

Bismarck13/William Dickens has some nice CFS2 aircraft that are a joy to fly in FS9...and since he does his testing in FS9, they need little tweaking for use in the sim. Look in the archives section here under Bismarck13 and on Simviation.com under William Dickens. Lots of interesting and unique aircraft.
For a nice selection of Lockheed Hudsons, look here:
http://www.virtualwings.org/hudson/r.htm These Hudsons are amazing, and with flight dynamics that are superb!
Keep in mind that CFS2 aircraft tend to have a nose heavy tendency in FS9, that they will need lights and effects added and the aircraft config will need to be modified to properly show up in the aircraft selection window. But with a little work hither and yon, bringing CFS2 aircraft into FS2002/2004 is a nice way to flesh out your hangar with WW2 warbirds and bombers.
Oh, look under BSK/BrunoSK for a few very nice planes...his Mossie is to die for (someone did an update to FS9 in terms of flight dynamics) as is his Martin 167.
