In my present effort to gain a better understanding of CFS2 as a whole I of course have discovered FSUIPC. Then I stumbled on a post mentioning FSVPI.
Note the two following quotes:
From: "FSUIPC User Guide.doc", ver. 2.975 (thank you Rhumbaflappy)
"However, it should be noted that CFS2 is not the main target, and support for 100% of the features is not guaranteed."
From: http://forum.avsim.net/topic/209030-injecting-ai-traffic-with-fsuipc/
"I "highly" recommend using FSVPI. … One of it's big advantages is that you can give a plane a heading, altitude to go to, and speed and it will do it … FSUIPC seems more dedicated to own plane rather than AI and I think FSVPI fills in the gaps very nicely."
I would certainly like to fiddle with this FSVPI thingy but the site http://www.fsvpi.com is dead. What is intriguing me is would it be possible to extend the Mission Builder (thank you Cody Coyote for your hand editing tweaks) with a new tool? A bit aside but I also see possibilities with SCASM tweaks to add versatility (thank you Simonu).
Comments? Am I in to deep here?
