Months back, when Acceleration was issued, the order in which the Flights would be ordered was to have been fixed. Indeed, when entering FSX the Flight list appeared in alpha order, but my habit to change a flight was to go to the FSX menu, Select "Flights" then Load and get a list of flights. Only they appeared in a jumbled order, most likely the original order that the flights were loaded. I still believe MS should have sorted this list via this path.
Not until recently did I find the solution to get the flights ordered again. Instead of loading a new flight as described above, Select "Flights" and hit the ESC key or click the Exit option, then in the End Flight window select End flight. The Free Flight menu appears and now the Load button shows the flights in alpha order.
So the shortcut method I had been using to change flights masked how to obtain sorted flights.
