What if that almost was

In 1938, the Finnish national airline Aero OY ordered two Focke Wulf FW 200B Condor airliners with an option on a third one. The Finns issued registrations for the two in anticipation, but with the outbreak of WW2, the aircraft went to the Luftwaffe as transports instead.

Found this pic on the web of what the aircraft would have looked like. The 200B had the transport fuselage of the 200A with the wings and engines of the 200C maritime patrol aircraft. Japan had ordered another 6 of them, but never received them. All went to the Luftwaffe instead.
