My joystick is crapping out. After many hours trying to recalibrate and re-install It still wants to roll left all the time. So it looks like I'm in the market for a new one. (Not that bothered cos it was only a cheapy job and it has lasted pretty well)

Just wondering what you all use and if you have any recommendations?

I'm running a Windows 7 64bit PC

Logitech EXTREME 3D Pro USB. Found a couple at the local thrift store for about $3.00 USD a few years ago and they still work fine. My Dell desktop GX270's run Windows XP Pro with Nvidia 6200 512MB video.

...Saitek X-52 with pedals on my desktop and Saitek CyborgX with my laptop and for travel.

Same here, but no pedals yet. Had the X-52 for about two years. Price is not bad and the separate throttle is cool. A lot of fun with choppers to.:mixedsmi:

Probably am too late to get this to you, I purchased a Sector 7, which are getting rare. Have had issues with Aircraft in CFS2, still not holding horizon turns, re: stick back turns (they would flatten out, reverting to a wonky mess) inverted, stalling @#$^&*(argghhh! Found a file from Logitech Joystick Software on the net, named WFXTweak2.exe, <-W is a graphic icon, should show in your file manager (explorer) list. What it does is calibrate (or your refinements->I use default) of each AXIS. I now can keep (barely) on the tail of a Zero, where before I would lose them. Try it on your crapper Joystick. Unless it loses it's micro switch(es), the above may help?

In the end I got a Thrustmaster HOTAS for a very good price.

Thanks for the tip though, I'll experiment with that on my old stick to see if it works. Doesn't hurt to have a spare
