Cold War, most definitely!

Would love a good, native Buran OK-GLI, Yak-38, Il-82 (Il-76VKP) Myasishchev M-50 Bounder, Myasishchev M-55 Geofysika, Antonov An-72, RC-135 Rivet Joint, E-4B Nightwatch, EC-135J Looking Glass, NKC-135, Beriev A-60 etc...

...OK, that's probably more than my fair share of aircraft. I'd ask for a Yak-44 as well, but I don't want to be too greedy, and there are no photos of the proposed cockpit layout, so even an E-2 Hawkeye, painted as a Hawkeyeski, would be welcome. ;)

I got to say that along with the other suggestions, I'd really like to see an FSX native XF-85 Goblin. Mr. Ito made one for FS9 that I still fly today. Althoughit didn't have a lenghty "service" career, it's still an interesting a/c. Granted, some of the features would need to be improvised for operational use, butit would make for a "peculiar-Piglet" style a/c.

I think a C-46 would be the way to go.
I don't understand all the work & effort that's going to be put into the C-97. Seems like re-inventing the wheel, no disrespect to the developers but it will be constantly compared to the A2A 377. :(
I may be completely wrong though. :)

That's the developer's choice, he can make what he likes. There's a great deal of enthusiasm for an aircraft type needed when building a model, perhaps you ought to try Gmax and have a crack at a C46? That's what I did when no-one was building the aircraft I wanted.
