Where am I?

I think you were sitting behind your computer in West-Tennessee near KTGC.

Sorry Willy I couldn't resist......

To be honest I think the red/white building in front should give a clue, but actually I don't have any idea. And as you are currently training for the Race around the World, it could be anywhere!

Cheers,
Huub

Kai Tak in a twin is as far as I can go. I installed the 9 dragons rendition which I frequent and this looks better than most of my perspectives!

Flying that Aproach in the Howard is easy - load up a 747 with full pax/cargo and take the fuel down to about 15%. I can do it about 7/10 without having to go around again.

Pete nailed it.

Kai Tak runway 13 is one place I go just to practice approaches. The 1963 Kai Tak scenery I use is from California Classics.

As for the Howard, it's just too much fun to fly to stay in the hanger for too long. I was letting propliner AI get about halfway down the runway on take off, then jamming the throttles forward on the Howard. I'd usually catch the propliner about a couple of hundred feet off the ground, pass them and break right to go around for another approach. I'm pretty sure the tower loved me for it. :icon_twi:

I'd get another screen shot later to add to this. If you've got a similar one, feel free to post it.

Tom, I'll fly that approach in most anything. Last night was the Howard, default DC-3 and SOH F7F. I've been known to fly way out of my way for a chance to fly the runway 13 approach.
