• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Where are you Matt? (KJAC Released)

Ohh....I got it, Ryan! First thing this morning! Was going to go fly the Cirrus for a few hours this afternoon with another sim-outhouse member, skyhawka4m; As fate would have it, he was unable to go, and after getting my briefing from the Williamsport FSS briefer, I decided to scrub anyway as we have some nasty weather inbound that most likely would have resulted in some scud running to get the plane home....and I don't fly that way.

....SO, I decided to take the realair Lancair from KHQM to KJAC and do some precision approach work instead. It is fantastic! Well worth the wait. How does it perform on your system? I get very good performance even with ASE, REX, ENB, and almost everything turned up!

I'm actually getting excellent performance (usually the orbx airports are fps killers) - but I am getting some shimmering on the building signage and the runway/taxiway surfaces. I've got 8xS + 2xSGSS in inspector with 16x AF.

That's my only gripe about it, it's beautiful from the other side too... I've been there in real life (Teton Village in the summer) and the area is breathtaking - probably the most beautiful place on earth :)
