I scanned this photo out of a book years ago and had a blow up of it printed for my wall. It was out of a book about American aircraft of WW2 (can't remember the name. I got interested when I saw the new web site main picture of the corsair...it looked so much like it. I think it may have been photographed by an English guy for the book (could be England based?). The number down the back says VF884.

Thanks Lefty.... gotta be the same one. What a sad waste it crashed. Finally found the name of the name of the book I scanned the photo out of "Thunder in the Heavens" ISBN / ISSN: 9781840654127
