Why is my thread locked?

Because as I sees it ( non moderator ) the next step will be the name calling and the fist shaking. :monkies:
 
Tell ya' what....I'm no mod, but I'll explain it to you. The entire thread was inflammatory from the start. The mods have every right to control what goes on in here. If you don't like it, you're welcome to leave.

That should be simple enough that even you can understand it.

No harm in knowing what is going on with other parts of the community. We have a common interest, and many of us are keenly interested. It's the slagging we don't need.

If it was a general flight sim forum great...but it's an OFF forum.

I'll look up ROF in ROF flight forum(and yes loving all combat flight sims will probably buy it and if it can be modded support at at my website) .

BUT quite frankly commenting on what I see with ROF and what I see with OFF , I could care less about eye candy and would rather have an immersive campaign where I get to fly with and against real actual named Aces, where records of my kills are kept and I even get to fill out claim forms.....and last but not least..ROF is vaporware until I see the finished product playing on my PC, I have been burned waiting for WW1 sims to come out before.
 
I'm still waiting for an explanation. There may have been some inflammatory remarks in the thread but it wasn't me. Why kill my thread instead of warning those who sat there and complained and bickered throughout the whole thread? Give me a break. There was absolutely no reason to lock my thread.
 
I'm still waiting to hear you explain why you don't use your normal alias.

What is my normal alias shredward? Threeonetwo is my normal alias which I've been using for over 7 years now. Plus, what does that have to do with my thread being locked? Is there a conspiracy I am missing? Please explain shredward.

The thread being locked doesn't have anything to do with anything you said--rather, it was locked for what other people were saying. Namely, trashing of OFF by RoF fans, and trashing of RoF by OFF fans. Although this forum is primarily for people who want to talk about OFF, I think most of us appreciate any respectful and meaningful discussion of any other existing or upcoming WWI sims, including RoF. That was not happening on this thread, so it was locked. End of story.
 
It's not like we were dues paying members. What the moderator wants goes . .. . You don't like it. Solution is Simple . . :monkies:

The timing and subject matter of your sudden interest in this forum look like ahhmm quite a coincidence, and perhaps it is just that. You will have to ask the moderators why your thread is locked.

Who was trashing OFF in that thread? All I saw was guys like Siggi trash ROF and Winder coming in to put in his two cents to fan the flames. Are you reading the right thread there Taffy?
