I have a top of the line nvidia card, and it won't work in windows 10.
grforce gtx 7800 so much for lifetime warranty

it appears they cut the lines to complain also, I spent over 30 minutes online and found no way to contact for them,

warning warning I smell a rat, they want to get into your pocket on this freebie.

I will never buy or talk someone into products from this company.

they knew this was a coming, and chose to screw people.

For what it's worth, I got an update from nvidia last night for the newest drivers for win10.......I have not decided whether or not I will upgrade to win10 yet.

I had no problems at all updating the drivers for my GeForce GTX 660. Actually, when Win 10 updated it removed my old drivers, so I had to get the drivers from Nvidia, which are working perfectly for me. Sorry you're experiencing problems Ron.

after 1 hour I finally got an email shot off to them saying
"I am sorry I supported you all these years"

for your complaints

I heard that MS had been advised of this and they claim it's a bug and will fix it along with many others.

over 2 hours spent online and finally got to talk to a human, after telling her the tag says lifetime warranty and reading off all the #'s and the proof of 1st ownership (which I Have) I was transferred to a dead telephone.

Talk about about talking to myself.:biggrin-new:

It could be that the phone lines to the Customer Service & Warranty Bureau in Bangladesh were extremely busy .....

Nvidia and M$ will get this sorted. The OS has just been released for a day. Give it some time Ickie.

BTW, an Nvidia GTX780 is no longer a top of the line video card. It is legacy.

I also wonder what you mean by "screwed my Nvidia". Did you install the DirectX runtime you need? If this is on your gaming rig and you need DX9, then you have to download that first, and then install the latest drivers.

I just bought this, choices are very limited at a cheep cost

I just bought: EVGA 02G-P3-2738-KR GeForce GT 730 2GB 128-Bit DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 Video Card
$76.00 new

and was told it is win 10 10

BTW Limited Lifetime Warranty is only 3 years,

today the old video card went k-boot
boy am i glad I ordered a new one which just came, installing it now.

NVidia is not to blame, it is the OS. I have HP Pavilion G6 laptop with AND/ATI graphics module, and I am getting "UNEXPECTED STORE EXCEPTION" BSOD's every time the laptop goes in to sleep mode or when starting after a full shutdown.

And as someone mentioned earlier, Windows 10 has just recently been released. Then you can count on baby bugs that need to be addressed.

Besides the BSOD's (for which I finally found a temporary resolution) Windows 10 is running very smooth. Now I am in the midst of finding out how to get control over my laptop returned to the rightful owner, which is ME!!

Removing apps, and other background processes that do not relate to Windows 10's functionality, but more to Microsoft's relentless desire to control our actions is a a steep learning curve.
