A friend used to be able with tool tips enabled mouse over the cockpit controls and view them...

Now with his new Win 7 comp yhat function does not work??

Any work arounds / Thoughts ??

Thanks

They work (at least they used to :d ) on my system...Win 7 64bit, Nvidia 285GTX and DX9 mode. AFAIK they won't work in DX10 mode.

Hmmmmmm never had that problem with Win 7 64bit but I don't use DX10! Let me look around Mason and see anyone else is having trouble with that.

There's a known issue with DX10 and tooltips, it's one of the bugs that makes the DX10 implementation a "preview".

You have a choice - tooltips or DX10 preview. ;)

(They work fine on my rig - W7 64 Home premium, FSX+Accel, kept firmly on DX9.)

OK great..

I never thought to ask was he using DX 10..

Mucho thanks

Well Mason I don't have an explanation buddy. When I asked Sergio at TechCorp to try this test on the cockpit controls on a few new builds some worked some didn't all had Win7. It was tested with and without DX10-same results. So now you've give us one to scratch our heads over...thanks LOL!:isadizzy:
