Is there an old fashioned Wind T for FS9? I know Cal Classics has a few in the Static Objects Library, but I'm looking for something like this.
Thanks in advance!

I wish!!
Something to be said about the old retro aircraft!
A lot more character that the 'bus's & Boeings we have today!

I can build one in FSDS 3.5, but animating it is difficult. I tried to use MDL tweaker to do this, but it won't turn/move.

Wish I knew how to help, but alas, no. I do remember windsocks that worked back in the day, but I think they were the old API format, placed by something like FSSC in older version of FS, but could be used in 9.
Would it be worth asking over at FSDev?

Do you have the ability to set pivot points and axis movements with FSDS? I've never played with it so I don't know.
But then I also suspect that you don't want it just pointing in any arbitrary direction either but that you will require it to function per the in game wind direction, I assume that's going to take some programming.

Good Luck.

That's the next step. Btw it's not a windsock, but a wind T. but I guess the animation is the same for most part.
