Windows 10 and xdp files

Hello-

I have installed another version of cfs3 and have attempted to install several AvH files that have xdp's in them. Every time I launch the game with these new files I get the message the xdp is corrupted. Any ideas? Oh the game runs fine and will accept all other types of modifications but no go on any xdp that I attempt to add.:banghead::banghead:

Assuming that the text in the xpd file doesn't actually have an error in it, I've had luck sometimes just copying the text, and pasting it into a new file to create a working replacement for the one that refuses to run.

Hi NachtPiloten, what are you viewing the xdp files with? Main software I use is Notepad or XML Wrench for troubleshooting. Also, Winmerge is really useful for viewing an xdp file that works, and comparing the subtle differences in syntax to an xdp file that is "corrupted".

.XDP files nowadays are associated with Adobe Acrobat programs by default, so I think the trouble may be with W10 permissions. Sorry I can't check this properly until I get back to my desktop PC.
