Hi, Its beena while since the last os update, meaning from windows me to xp several years ago. I just got windows 7 ut is therea way to keep vista if you want to go back to it for something.? can i keep both os's and revert back and forth? thx.

I just installed 7 on my laptop last night. I will install CFS2 under it after Church today and get back in here tonight and let you all know what my experiences with it are.

I am going from 32bit to 64bit, so there might be some issues that I am unaware of right now. However, I noticed in the install last night that WIndows 7 has a conflict resolution section in it for programs that worked under previous versions. I will see if that is needed.

So far, Windows 7 appears to be a better OS than Vista, my opinion is still unformed with comparison to XP.

BTW, I dual boot, or more accurately, multi boot. I have XP, Vista and Windows 7 on the laptop.
I have XP and Vista on the PC and will be moving to probably a dual boot XP and 7 on the big PC later on.

How does Windows 7 work with CFS2, generally?

Same like Vista, CFS2 works very well. I use Windows7 64bit since it was out with no problem's.
I have a dual boot system with XP and Win7 (WinXP for FSDS2) I think if you have Win7 there is no need for using Vista.

Yeppers, works just fine!

Only problem I have is with the sound cards on my PC.
I have C-media on the Motherboard, NO JOY.
I have a Diamond Xtreme 7.1 PCI Express card, NO JOY.

Neither sound cards on the PC have Windows 7 drivers available.
Looks like I will be going to Newegg or Best Buy..............

Anyone got any suggestions for a sound card compatible with Windows 7?
