Wingmen won't attack in QC

No idea what's causing this, but (in MAW) my wingmen won't attack at all. It doesn't matter whether I bracket the other aircraft or not, when I press A, they come up with the usual barrage of lame excuses and then just mill around. In the past, they've at least pretended to get stuck in... Does anybody know what to fiddle with the make them a bit more playful? This isn't just being useless, this is disobeying!

Very odd - the box for loadouts was blank - not "clean" or anything else, just completely blank. I clicked on it, it came up "clean" and now they attack. Weird...

Thanks!

I've never seen this one before. Did that happened on only one aircraft, have you checked the loadout section in the xdp file?

Happens on all of mine, not sure why. I forget who pointed out that fix to me, but if they're still around maybe they know more?

I don't think I've ever had it before, unless - if you delete an aircraft while it is still registered as player aircraft in the uisel file, all the info slots for that aircraft go blank and you get the 'mission file failed to load' message. That doesn't stop you choosing a different aircraft the usual way, but I suspect that afterwards, the loadout entry slot remains blank unless you choose a new one. I vaguely remember deleting an aircraft at some point, so that may be it.

I also have the problem when fying BOF missions in era1 with DR_MS406_GCI-3.
This does not appen with the plane in QC.
HH pointed to the solution but could not give me a permanent way of solving the problem even if the uisel.xml regenerate itself.:banghead:

Notice in some aircraft xdp files the Clean loadout is at the bottom rather than the top of the loadouts selections?

I wonder if the Clean option should always be at the top of the loadouts list, and without a blank line between the opening Loadouts parameter and the <clean> loadout?

Using the Campaign Generator Excel spreadsheet, the loadouts of all the ETO aircraft can be checked quickly.
