EKG(J), Erganzung KampfGeschwader (Jagd) or "replenishment" squadron was an advanced flight training squadron (consisting of a variety of aircraft) whose main purpose was to convert bomber pilots (who were not needed in this role, at this stage of the war) into fighter pilots.
