great shots cirrus..im guessing thats grandpa in the light colored shirt at the end of your shots on the link?..with his arms out like "wings"?......pretty sprite for a man his age...good for him..i personally send my thanks to him for his service in WWII

thank you he loves airplanes and he loves his country he is 89 and i can say one thing he is hard to keep up with at airshows its like he turns back the years and becomes young again he was aboard cve31 in ww2 lots of neat history

should have seen him today it was amazing he got to chat with the other ww2 vets

i see the smoke from that fire has settled in there pretty well..showed T-910 on our local news tonight.
 
The Skyshark is not airworthy. It would be pretty cool if it was restored to flying condition! :wiggle:
No fires affecting us here currently. It was overcast when I took the picture.
 
oh i see...i just assumed that large 25,000 acre fire was what the overcast was...lol..see what i get for assuming?..lol

and it was T-911 flying that big fire in socal...where ever it is..
