Winter Olympics - A Florida 1st Ever!

No Florida skater has ever made the US Olympic pairs skating team until now. At the recent US National Championship in Spokane, two Florida skating pairs took 1st and 2nd and both teams are going to the Olympics.

The cool thing is that both pairs train at the same facility in the tiny town of Ellenton, Florida (pop. 3100) and the one young lady is actually the long time girl friend of the guy on the other team.

I really wish them well. :applause:
