Winter Surfing Down Under!

Well, it's almost Winter.
Five minutes drive from home and plenty of good company at Gunamatta Beach!
Been a while but I managed to catch a few waves and remain upright.
Not bad for an old bloke............centre stage and on top of the roller.

Last week (IIRC) the Great Whites (15 of them!) were frolicking among swimmers at a beach in California.
99% of the Surfing Community here regard us as trespassers in their domain.
