WIP French Navy TBM-3E/ Info request

Below, first shot of my Frecnh Navy repaint of the TBM-3E.

Still looking for info for this repaint, serial number and squadron number for a TBM-3E as flown in the 50's. (not for the later TBM-3S)

Any information will be greatly appreciated!

Result so far:

Still not sure about the font of the serial, but open for suggestions.

Also looking for a idea what batch to put on the pilot's shoulder to finish the repaint :cost1:

To the best of my knowledge only 3 Flotillas ever used the avenger the 4F the 6F and the 9F

However 9F used the TBM mainly in Hunter Killers teams and the TBM 3S or TBM 53 had no rear turret.
I'm not it operated the standard "end of war variant" the 3E.

I'll try to check out for you.

Off topic on my part but thanks for that link. I had come across it or something very similar while researching
the T-6 for Alphasim a couple years ago and then the link didn't work anymore. Glad to find it again.
