WIP Paint for Tim's Mooney Mite

Since this little plane is one of my favorites I figured it would be a good victim for my first repaint attempt. Thought it might look nice with some late '30s trainer markings. The wings outboard the red bands are a slightly different shade of yellow, I'm still trying to find just the right color.













Let me know what you think and any hints or tricks are appreciated as I'm learning how to use GIMP at the same time:isadizzy:.

She sure looks good. Only needs thing she needs is the 13 red and white bars on the tail.
