These two projects are starting to take shape. The exteriors are about 95% complete. I'm just starting on the interior of both. I have much better documentation for the interior of the A-12 Shrike so I will probably finish it first. The HP-42 was an example of Imperial Airways elegance in the air vs. speed which was pursued by other airlines with planes like the DC-2 and up. It lumbered along at about 104 mph (too slow to crash!) and covered some of the longest scheduled airline routes in the world.

Best, Paul

Awesome work, as always Paul.. Looking forward to them, as I have all of your wonderful creations.. :applause::icon29::salute:

My goodness man! You are a model making animal! I wish I could whip out cool planes as fast as you.

Love the choices of aircraft as well. That HP was a great flyer back in the day. High technology airliners...

I'm looking forward to the HP-42 myself - I was given a very well-made model of one as a youngster and the aircraft itself has subsequently become a bit of a favourite of mine.
