....I thought: What about De Mok? I decided to start on De Mok and will do De Vlijt and De Mok in one package. Here are some photo's taken in a museum on Texel. This is De Mok....These are my main guides to building this one.

Count me in, I would like it to.

Looks interesting, what planes would they be? Do we have them in sim for AI? Floaters would be a challenge though.

Jamie

PS. If you need any help, holler.
PPS. do you mind me asking how you got the GE objects into sim? If it's a secret, PM me.
PPPS. did you want me to do something with the flightplans? guess that's maybe redundant now anyway? New flightplans for both fields instead?

JDT, MCX (Model Converter X) can open and export google earth / sketchup objects into .MDL, .3DS ETC....... :salute:

Jamie,

Matt is right. ModelConverterX can convert Sketchup models to MDL files. Another program from Arno Gerretsen, ObplacerXML, can put these object exactly in the place you want them and create a bgl file.

Cheers,

Cees

Jamie,

De Mok will be a seaplane base. There are a few Fokkers from Richard Alexander van Hiem that are useful. I've done it before for Waalhaven. Maybe these planes can fly between Waalhaven and De Mok? There's is a base inbetween in Amsterdam: Schellingwoude. But that's another project! First I want to finish Texel with De Vlijt and De Mok. Edit: Here's a W.I.P. shot of the first hangar.

Thanks Matt! In this last shot a few things are better scaled and better placed. Five more buildings to go!

Lookin' good Cees. I'm looking forward to flying Milton's upcoming Avia airplanes to and from the increasing list of retro Dutch aerodromes.
