I know for realism I shouldn't use the unlimited Ammo option before anyone tells me...
Anyway just for training and getting to grips purposes I am using it for now. I have just received Phase 3 Heaven and hell and find when I check this it doesn't work in the game...I keep running out of Ammo...anyone else having this problem and Can anyone Help????

You MIGHT be seizing your Guns action by generating too much heat by a excessively long burst.
Rather than preach ( which you don't hear )

That's my guess too, your pumping out a rope and the gun jams. Try short burst and to be accurate. I'm using unlimited to start with also and trying to achieve a 30+% hit average. Once I feel like I have it down i'll switch back. Problem right now is I started a new Campaign in 1915 and the crate i'm flying has the MG pointing out to the left to avoid the prop with no gunsight and i'm lucky to get 15% hits with it!
 
Someone recently told me that SHIFT+J will reload the guns when unlimited ammo is selected. Haven't tried it for myself yet though.
