Even Phantoms had these - well, FGR2s did. FG1s had some clockwork monstrosity.

The Litton LN-12 INS used in conjunction with the AN/ASN-46A nav computer on the F-4C, D, and E (not sure about navy and other phantoms) is even more ancient....has a CEP of 3nm/hr.
