Thanks to RCF_Dudley, got my disk of Phase 2. I have been flying BOBII so very interesting adapting to a WWI flight sim. A lot more floating and adjusting.

The track IR is really nice in this game, find myself leaning, sitting up twisting around because there is so much visibility around the wind screen.

The music and colors set a very somber feel that improves the immersion.

I need to try the higher difficulty settings regarding the AI ( the AI is so strong on BOB II, I am used to getting my head handed to me in a basket straight away.)

Not sure i completely understand the radar thing, I guess there is no in game map, so you need the radar to navigate?

Anyway, thanks all and especially Hylander for introducing us to this sim on the A2A forum site.

If you think Phase 2 is a beauty to behold, wait until you see Phase 3 from the air.

The radar/HUD is fairly intuative. It gives you types of enemy/friend and ranges, dependent on how you set it up. I think many OFF flyers don't use this facility and fly by the seat of their pants (visual only). It can be toggled on/off in-game.

There is a basic map giving route etc. You can toggle it on/off using the M key

We are all waiting to see P3 from the air!

When will that be? Mmmmm.....:ques:

:dReal men navigate in OFF using paper maps and/or dead reckoning:d

Just kidding...its not for everyone. But some of us fanatics do prefer to be as real as possible and "just say no" to magic radar and magic maps. Maybe give it a try. To me it makes each flight much more interesting when you have to work at finding your way.

No problem! The way the BDG is taking care of BoBII, is the same way These folks are dialing in O.F.F. And the accuracy with which this sim is being put together, and the attention to detail in every aspect possible, I figured it to be a sure bet for the BoBII folks at A2A.

Just need to get a few more interested in this one. It's worth the wait, and the price!
