My Rig is low spec and was really concerned if I had enough juice to run P3. Two on Two on an overcast day and after 12 minutes of juking about in my Nieuport 17, finally put it into the dirt.

You guys are sucking me back from WWII into WWI.....I am a huge BOBII fan, but man, after 12 minutes of this, I need a shower and a smoke!

Excellent Geezer. We want to see more upbeat positive feedback like this. And I'm sure we will. WWII ? What's that ?

I am a big BOB WOV fan. Actually that forum put me on to this forum and OFF. I guess us prop guy stick together with the quality sims.

Wait about 6 minutes after your victory, you're at roughly 9000 feet, and your motor cuts out. First place you look is your fuel gauge, or (F5)
Suprize . . . no motion lotion. No Parachute . . . . at least there's no fire Hazard. You'll now learn all about glideing, and dead stick landings as well.

Who says WWI lacks excitement ?

I know, what you mean, GEEZER. Sweaty hands, pumping heartbeat - all that still occurs to me, when I meet real aces in P2. After such a flight, you wouldn't just do the next one right off. So, how much more intense must it be with the new AI? I'm really full of expectation.
Gratulation for the kill - hope. it wasn't one of my Jasta 5 mates. To shoot down an Albatros with a Nupe (single gun) can't be easy; the Albatros can eat some, before she breaks.

To be honest Olham, I think my wingman softened him up a bit before I got to him, but I'll take em anyway I can get em!

There have been times, after an extremely intense dogfight, I've had to pause the game and walk around a bit just so I can stop shaking from the adrenaline rush! I can't wait to get my mitts on Phase 3. Good on ya, Geezer! Give 'em hell!

My Doctor has told me to chill out on the OFF flying, the adrenaline seems to be shutting down my digestive system...:faint:

Hey, POL,
nice you picked my favourite bird for a change. Are you flying the Albatros in P3, or do you also rather remain on the other side of the mud?

I have made some flights now on the D VII, and she's by far the most dangerous plane around - great performance, fast, agile, climb rate; she's quick as a spinnin' devil, get's you behind everyone, you can't miss; and I shot up even Lufberry in his SPAD, plus three wingmen. (I realised, that 1918 was a different war already - away from the knights of the air; more towards slaughter. I "moved back" to 1917, to complete my Campaigns with Jasta 11 and Jasta 5).
But when it comes to beauty, it will be the Albatros, always. From below, she looks like a peregrine.
I hope, she'll still perform reasonably good in P3 - I'd like to stay with her.
At least, I'll give her any chances, to remain my favourite bird.

Yes DIII was my first model so I fly it from time to time, and of course we have to test test test so end up flying all sorts from both sides - it looks much better with a P3 spruce up and new skins the guys made.
We are fed up taking off 200 times from the same field to test something so some great craft get put aside for a while ... lol.

I'm sure, the crave for more will return, POL. For now, you all deserve to bathe in the feedback you'll be getting during the next weeks and months.
And you want to spend time with your families for sure (or at least they want you to - lol).
And the other great planes will always be something to add later. I haven't experienced all the P2 planes yet, so I'm certain, you gave us so much to investigate and learn, that it may last for two years at least. And if you then feel like giving us some new planes, they'll be more than welcome.
But for now: enjoy the (hopefully great) feeling and feedback from all around the world. (Imagine! They'll play your creation in Hawaii and Skandinavia, Alaska and Irak (Militant_Danny), South Africa and South Amerika - everywere!)
I got some jobs paid, and could balance my budget. Tomorrow, I can (at last) make the order for P3! And believe me: I can hardly sit still until then!
Cheers. Olham

Simply adds to my appreciation of the effort you guys have put in.

I work in the IT industry and occasionally I fail to step back quickly enough and get pulled into some testing... absolute anathema to me, the dullest thing in the world and when you're even not being paid for it... well... :applause::applause::applause:
