First of all, many thanks to Martin Catney aka ICDP for his work to give us this amazing paintkit !
Messerschmitt Bf 109E-4 flown by Hpt. Günther Scholtz, III./JG 5, 1942. By 1942 most Bf 109 pilots were flying the Bf 109F but Scholtz prefer to retain his Bf 109E. It was painted in RLM 70 over RLM 65 with the white rudder carrying his victory markings.
