Messerschmitt Bf 109E-4 flown by Hpt. G?nther Scholtz, III./JG 5, 1942. By 1942 most Bf 109 pilots were flying the Bf 109F but Scholtz prefer to retain his Bf 109E. It was painted in RLM 70 over RLM 65 with the white rudder carrying his victory markings.
