Thanks Dave.....Currently working on two missions in Corsica flying as the British...Tweeking the missions little as the P47's assigned to bomb ground units are having a bit of trouble.Had to increase their altitudes and take out some German flak units from the scenario....Unfortunately I just cannot figure out how to get the missions to load unless the scenery is installed into the main CFS folders...:salute:Also preparing to start on the first WW1 1916 missions....checking out various allied airfields to base the missions from...
 
Theatre Markings

I believe that the Luftwaffe aircraft carried White Wing Tip, Rudder, and Fuselage Bands in the MTO.

I would like to have the correct markings on the planes .... have to do a little research...Also how to get those correct marking on the planes in the missions is another little project...I would like to make a few historical missions but getting the right information for the type and number of planes involved as well bases and way points can be a real bear to find...If anyone has any good links to this type of information please post them...........Also I removed the bf110's from the missions because they refuse to attack ground targets.....have to use fighter aircraft for bombing.....
 
CORSICA ESCORT

Had a successfull test...Actually survived the whole mission.Well over two hundred mile flight round trip.Had to fly the length of Corsica from Bonifacio to Rogiliano and back.No warping in order to really test out the mission well.Two areas of combat to get through.Managed to bring down one Bf109 myself on the way back to base...Used all my ammunition and had just enough fuel left to get back to base...Did have to cut the throttle back during the last segment to conserve fuel..Almost seems like the squadron did too good ....makes me want to take another look at the mission even though the last attempt was a failure...
