    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

X-Plane map frustrating

Yesterday I started an IFR flight in a CRJ from Baltimore to Albany. I tuned the VOR for Philadelphia with info from the map. As I got close to Philly, I looked for the VOR for Newark, but I could only scroll so far before the map ended. I kept flying along thinking the map would reload at some point but it didn't. Then I went and and clicked on the planet thing and was promptly placed on the ground. Ticked me off, so I just bailed out of X-Plane.

I would think that the "Local Map" would be local to where your plane is, not local from your point of origin. Maybe I'm missing something.
