Greetings,iv`e recently edited some aircraft .xdp files to change cockpit size but it appears some not all fail and become corrupted i`m using ''wordpad'' as adobe reader won`t work,is there any other option to download?
I`m running Win 7 home premium 64 bit.
Thanks in advance.

You would be better using Notepad, or a text file editor like XMLWrench. There are others, no doubt the members will suggest their favourites. Wordpad is a cut-down word processor and will insert non-printing characters unless you’re very careful to save as plain text. That’s why you get fails, when the sim reads the non-printing characters.

Yes like Tom says, I find XML Wrench is good. If there is an error in your aircraft xdp, XMLWrench will tell you the exact line and position of the fault.

Thanks fellas!

Thank you fellas, all`s good i edited using notepad and it works,i`ll download the Wrench also.
John.
