    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Flying Tiger Charles Herman (Chuck) Older - assigned to the 3rd Pursuit Squadron (\"Hell\'s Angels\"), Older participated in the first massive air battles over Rangoon, Burma and became one of the first two AVG aces on Christmas Day, 1941 when he added three Japanese aircraft to two destroyed on 23 December. Returned to China as a USAAF major in 1944. He co-commanded the 23rd FG with fellow Flying Tiger Ed Rector flying Mustangs. Leaving the Air Force after the war, Older He gained prominence as the presiding judge in the Charles Manson mass murder trial in 1970-71.
