Yoke controllers.

I have the CH Yoke (not the latest version, but still USB), yet I haven't plugged it in for a LONG time now. Almost always use my CH Fighterstick.

Personal preference or does the simple joystick feel more comfortable?

i use the USB CH products yoke...i love it..feels fine...the stick feels uncomfortable to me and unrealistic to me...(i dont fly many fighters) i also have 2 throttle quads for full 4 engine use...and ofcourse rudder peddles....i cant fly with a stick anymore....i used to switch back and forth to my stick when i flew a fighter..but i dont anymore..the sietck is now in the shed......

Thanks for the feedback. I'm getting into big 4 engined heavies more and more lately. The only real fighter than I spend quality time in is a P-38.

These yokes look interesting to me but I'm wary about the price tag.

I have the Saitek X52 and just recently bought the Saitek yoke and I am still getting used to it. I like it for aircraft that have yokes as it certainly adds to the realism but I am finding landings are much harder with the yoke but I guess that's just lack of practice as they are getting better. ;)

One thing to note is that the yoke only comes with ONE 3-way throttle quadrant not two as shown in that video. You can buy an extra quadrant to plug in to control four engines, props and mixture.

Regarding the $150 USD price you quoted that is not a bad price as I have seen them going for much more and the competition is even more expensive.

look for packaged deals at places like PC aviator or other stores

I have a Saitek yoke and throttle quadrant. My yoke, when in the springloaded neutral position, commands full up on the elevators and the mixture control on the quadrant stopped working. I e mailed Saitek product support (Misnomer) Got an acknowledgement stating they would get back with solutions and they never did. When they worked properly when I first got them I was pleased with them but I don't bother with them now. I now fly everything with a Saitek AV8R which still works.

I have the Saitek yoke and throttle quad, plus extra throttle quad for four engine use as in the video, plus the rudder pedals. Also have the X-52 setup. Love them all. Well worth the price.

I've flown the CH setup, prefer the Saitek feel. Just personal prefs.
