Yorkie's Tepid Tea and Bully Beef Run

Down at RPMD, loading up on fuel for the long haul and checking the restraints on the valuable cargo
 
I have a feeling this is going to get interrupted by a call for "taxi" service but what the...

RPMD to WABB
 
Long, uneventful flight but... the "taxi" call came about 20 min out of WABB.

A couple of near record runs in the car and got back in time for a dive-bomber approach with some hairy S-turns to lose altitude...
 
Boys at Boram weren't too thrilled with the Spam the Yanks had snuck into the crates, but a dose of fortifier in the tea made up for it :icon_lol:
 
The skies were fluffy until about 15 miles out then blissfully cleared.

Tea is served on the lawn! ...errrrrr... runway

To Port Moresby, that is. Just got word via the HF radio that my resupply will be docking later tonight with more "beef" a few cases of Ovaltine and some chickory for the non-tea types...

Down safely at CPG (thankfully fuel is burning off to make the short strips easier)

Should be able to make it to the end on the fuel I loaded up at Port Moresby, so off across the water to AYKV
